A monthly or quarterly report pack — income statement, balance sheet and a cash flow summary — so you can see how the business is actually performing, not just that the books are tidy.
Presented plainly, with the movements worth your attention pointed out rather than left for you to find.

SARS submissions
EMP201 monthly declarations and EMP501 reconciliations prepared and filed on eFiling, with deadlines tracked so nothing arrives late and nothing attracts a penalty.

Those two are where I work fastest, and where I would put a new client if the choice were mine. If your books already live somewhere else, that is not a problem — I pick up new packages quickly and have no interest in making you migrate for my convenience.

Prices exclude VAT — Ledger Room is a sole proprietorship and is not registered for VAT, so there is no VAT on your invoice. Once-off catch-up work on historical books is quoted separately after a look at what is there.

I have been doing bookkeeping for over six years, and I work for myself — when you hire Ledger Room you are hiring me, not an account manager who passes your file to someone else.
Most of my clients are professional services firms and e-commerce businesses: consultancies, agencies and online stores where transaction volumes are high, the admin piles up quickly, and nobody in the building enjoys reconciling a payment gateway.
I work remotely from Saint Helena Bay on the West Coast, in Afrikaans or English, Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:00. You will know when your month closes, and you will not have to ask twice for a straight answer.
